About the Company

It started as a Microfinance Program of Cordillera Parent’s Federation Inc. (CPFI) – a partner organization of Child Fund Philippines in the Cordillera-which response to the root cause of low income among poor families in the coverage areas CPFI attributed to lack of skill, low education, and big family number.

The project is designed to increase income by accessing poor families to quality financial services suited to their situation with the long term goal of contributing to improving the well-being of children.

In June 2012, the CPFI Microfinance Program was successfully registered as Microfinance-NGO at the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) with the name CORDILLERA COMMUNITY AND FAMILY ASSITANCE FOR PROGRESS, INC. (CCFAPI).

In November 2017, CCFAPI changed its corporate name to Cordillera Community Microfinance (CCMI) Incorporated in compliance to Republic Act 10693 also known as the Microfinance NGOs Act.

As of 2018, CCMI has two affiliate organization engaged in Wholesale and Retail Services, Pharmacy and a lending company that’ll cater to Small and Medium Enterprises (SME); the companies are LNJ Marketing Corporation, St. Boniface Drugstore (under LNJ), and CCMI-SME Lending Corporation.
