The Governance, Knowledge and Innovation Lead will head a team of national sub-component managers, technical and project officers as well as short-term advisers to support sustainable capacity strengthening across the program. Specifically the Component Lead will have responsibility for the Unified Information System (UIS), Policy & Planning (P&P), Monitoring & Evaluation capacity building (M&E) and Innovation Fund sub-components. The Lead will also take a lead role in aspects of knowledge management, particularly in developing an approach for the dissemination of BEST-related research amongst program partners.
1) Post-secondary qualification in education, M&E, social sciences, or a related discipline, with at least 10years’ experience working on development programs 2) Demonstrated experience undertaking policy & planning and institutional strengthening, preferably related to education policy in the Philippines 3) Demonstrated experience undertaking a unified approach to monitoring and evaluation, knowledge management and communications for development, preferably for DFAT programs in the Philippines 4) Exceptional ability to develop and maintain results-focused stakeholder relationships in a complex environment 5) Demonstrated experience developing strategies and pilot activities. 6) High-level interpersonal skills including verbal and written communications skills. 7) Demonstrated ability to work in a team, work sensitively in a complex, cross cultural operating environment, nurture productive internal relationships and foster an environment of continuous learning. 8) Demonstrated capability for problem solving and sound judgement.
