DAI seeks qualified candidates for the position Business Systems Specialist (BSS) under the USAID-funded Facilitating Public Investment (FPI) project. The BSS will support the transformation of DBM’s operating units to institutionalize performance informed budgeting. He/she will critique and reform business processes and transactions. The specific tasks of this assignment are as follows: (a) Development of the operations management framework and process analysis methodology; (b) Identify the data requirements, sources and methods of verification; (c) together with other team members, prepare the workshop design and act as facilitator in the process mapping activities; (d) act as resource person for the application of operations management principles and objectives in the business process mapping, analysis and modification. The Specialist will report to the Chief of Party and work in close collaboration with FPI’s Deputy Chief of Party throughout the duration of this assignment.
Bachelor's Degree with specialization in Public Administration, Public Finance, Economics or other relevant fields. Master's Degree is preferred.
10 years of relevant work experience
Understanding of international budget process review and re-engineering, M&E and other relevants skills is distinct advantage;
Experience working with DBM or international organization and understanding of DBM business processes is a plus.
