Handles all advocacy-related activities of the organization including planning and strategizing for policy advocacy, campaigns and alliance-building. Provides technical assistance in translating and disseminating scientific and site action initiatives to various media thereby creating mass awareness and support towards nature conservation. Facilitates community-based activities in the project site to develop the capacity of local stakeholders, protected area management and forest land use plans. Networks with various stakeholders to generate support for identified conservation initiatives.
Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Humanities, Political Science, Economics or other related courses; relevant post graduate units is an advantage.
At least 3-5 years work experience in the same capacity.
Must have relevant experience in writing and data analysis.
Knowledge and experience in environment issues is an advantage.
Must have excellent communication and presentation skills and adept at public speaking and writing press releases.
