Position objectives: The position provides strategic support to the implementation of CBM’s programme quality standards, with emphasis on project monitoring and evaluation as well as reporting and learning.
Overall mission: As a proactive member of the Programme Team, the PO-Q&R will contribute to the implementation of CBM Philippines country plan. He or she will ensure CBM’s compliance with programme standards; implement M&E tools and initiate or suggest improvements; monitor, review, analyse and evaluate project activities and output; ensure qualitative and quantitative results; and conduct research.
Reporting to the programme manager, the job holder will work in close coordination with
CBM staff at the Philippine country office, CBM advisers, and colleagues from other CBM
offices. Commencement of employment is planned for August 2018.
Relevant academic degree on social work, community development, sociology, or other related fields
At least four years of professional experience in planning, managing and evaluating international development programmes; and application of this experience to programme quality improvements
Knowledge of quantitative and qualitative research methodologies
Good knowledge and understanding of international development work and understanding of inclusive Project Cycle Management (iPCM)
Good understanding of all widely followed programming principles and priorities
Good understanding of applicable donor reporting requirements
Has experience on advocacy, alliance-building and proposal development
Willingness to travel and work long hours when necessary
Commits to CBM’s Child Safeguarding Policy
Previous experience of working with people with disabilities is a significant advantage
Good knowledge of MS Office
Knowledge in the application of relevant statistical software
