Job Description

The Finance and Administration Officer ensures that resources made available to the project are properly utilized and accounted for. S/he is responsible for supporting operations by ensuring funds and financial information are provided in a timely manner; reviewing and validating financial documents submitted by the project team; supervising other finance and administrative personnel; and preparing as well as submitting reports in a timely manner. Ensures that project staff are supported in human resources and other administrative needs. The Finance and Administration Officer reports to the Project Coordinator and travels occasionally to ensure smooth project operations


Qualification

At least a bachelor’s and preferably a master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is preferable. Minimum of five (5) years relevant experience is required. Proficiency in accounting software, preferably QuickBooks, is required. Excellent skills in English, both written and verbal, ideally complemented with proficiency in Maranao, Maguindanaon, Visayan, and/or Cebuano dialects. Reporting to the Project Coordinator, the Finance and Administration Officer is expected to have a proactive and rigorous approach to problem solving and professional responsibilities. Demonstrated ability to work independently, as well as in a team, is required.
