Financial Analyst

Job Description:
  1. Ensure completeness and accuracy of monthly postings of financial transactions
  2. Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements to various stakeholders
  3. Prepare necessary accruals and adjusting journal entries pertaining to tax and other monitored accounts
  4. Generate schedules, reconcile, monitors and analyze assigned general ledger accounts
  5. Perform analysis of all cost centers and identify variances
  6. Attend to queries of other groups and field offices in order to clear and settle accounting issues
  7. Keep updated with the latest IFRS, IAS and oil and gas accounting standards and issuances
  8. Assist in review of monthly financial report/write-up including analysis of the Company’s operating performance, financial position, and cash position
  9. Assist in the preparation of requirements and respond to queries and findings of the Commission on Audit (COA) during annual and special audit engagement
  10. Assist in the preparation of other reportorial requirements to the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Department of Finance (DOF), Governance Commission for GOCCs (GCG) and other stakeholders
  11. Coordinate with the Management Information System (MIS) Department in the development and enhancement of existing ABAP program to address various financial reporting requirements
Qualification:

Minimum Education : Bachelor’s degree in Account, Certified Public Accountant

Minimum Experience : Three (3) years related work experience
