The Social Marketing Associate shall provide liaison, monitoring, and administrative support to Protect Wildlife’s behavior change and communications team in developing and implementing campaigns that improve attitudes and behaviors towards biodiversity and conservation. He/she shall take part in the planning and implementation of communication campaigns directed to specific sectors (i.e., media, tourism industry). He/she shall assist in the training of partners on social marketing, and in monitoring and reporting on the progress and reach of on-going campaigns. Based in Manila, this position reports to the Behavior Change Communication Specialist and coordinates with the Communications Specialist.
A degree in marketing communication or related field;
1-2 years experience in an advertising agency, marketing department, PR, corporate communications or similar industry/experience;
Experience with print, audio, and video production preferred;
Experience with media placement and dealing with media planning and buying agencies;
IT literacy and an awareness of how the marketing communication industry is developing in light of new communication technologies;
Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills;
Superior integrity, organization, and interpersonal skills; effective team-working skills;
Ability to work under pressure and assimilate large quantities of information quickly, while maintaining attention to detail;
Must be flexible, willing to perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
